Britney Spears anuncia su retiro de los escenarios

Britney Spears, la princesa del pop, ha decidido poner su carrera en una pausa indefinida debido a que su padre fue diagnosticado con una grave enfermedad.

Fue la propia Britney quien dio la noticia a sus seguidores a través de su perfil oficial de Instagram.

«No sé ni por donde comenzar con esto, porque es muy difícil para mí decirlo», expresó la cantante de 37 años.

La intérprete de «Toxic» aseguró que ha cancelado con efecto inmediato sus presentaciones en Las Vegas, Nevada.

«No realizaré mi nuevo show Domination. He estado esperando por esta presentación, visualizándolo este año, así que hacerlo me rompe el corazón».

I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say. I will not be performing my new show Domination. I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart. However, it’s important to always put your family first… and that’s the decision I had to make. A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him.
